Supergirl had been wheeled into a smaller room than the hangar she had just been in. The room was like an operating theatre. With a viewing wall at the very top and rows of chairs. Supergirl didn't like the look of this. Supergirl was pushed into the middle of the room and then the lights came on. She had to close her eyes, the lights were blinding. When she opened them again she could see that the rows of seats above the room had filled up. It was like a spectator show. And Supergirl was the show. Well at least she wasn't the dinner as well.

She looked around the room and could see all the villians she had ever come up against; Braniac, Clayface, Emerald Empress, Fatal Five, King Shark, Lex Luthor, Persuader and Spider-Girl. To name but a few.

They must have all paid to watch. her humiliation. It was all she could do not to burst into tears.

Then a door opened in the far corner. And 2 people wearing long white coats came in. Supergirl knew they weren't there to look after her. The taller of the two, clicked his fingers and a much smaller man, maybe a dwarf. He wheeled a table over to where Supergirl was. On the table, was a didlo, a leather mask, two clamps and a metal rod. Not the most fancy equipment, but Supergirl got the impression they knew how to use them effectivley.

Then aloud buzzing started and Gorilla Man walked in. "That sound you hear is the sound of my latest invention". At that point a machine was brought into the world, it must have been about 12Ft high and was making aloud buzzing noise. "It is used to control your powers, it won't drain them completly, but it will control what power you can access, at the moment you can access about the same strength as a small child. Enjoy".

With that he left the room and joined the others at the top.

He spoke down to Supergirl through the intercom. "this is just a little show the real stuff, will be when all your enemies can make it in a few days. oh, and i don't fancy your chances".

"you can start now" - Gorilla Man.

with that the men started work.

You could hear Supergirl scream miles away.

Those in the city would have heard, if it wasn't for the extra strength sound proofing.

The men had worked through all the equipment on the desk and were just about to use the iron bar on Supergirl. When the alarms went off.

Supergirl couldn't see, her eyes had swealed up. But she could hear what was going on.

Batman and the Human Tourch had broken into the underground lair and rescued Batgirl and Wonder Woman and they were now escaping the compound.

She knew straight away they weren't coming back for her, she was going to be left here. A casualty of war. Security was tightened and Supergirl was moved to a more secure location within the compound. Although she knew the extra security wasn't needed, they wouldn't attack the place twice, it was risky enough. She would have to stay here and tough it out an dhope for a way to get out.
