Dr. Wingate chuckled. "Why would it matter what they thought? Who are you worried about? Your parents? Me? My husband? The technicians?"

Trinity paused again, struggling to find an answer. "Well, yes, I guess I don't want my parents to know. They would think they failed somehow and raised some kind of pervert. I mean, they're nice enough people, but I don't think they would understand the kinds of thoughts I have inside." Trinity said softly.

"What do I have to do?" Trinity asked.

"We've recorded your brain wave functions while you told me your fantasy, and again when you detailed how you felt when the examination began. "Okay, I think I can do that." Trinity grinned, obviously eager to begin.

"Excellent. You will be a great subject. Now, for the duration of this test, I will have to refer to you as subject 342 so that we can easily identify your records on the audio and video. Is that okay?" Dr. Wingate asked softly.

"342? A number?" Trinity asked slowly, never having given that any thought before. "Sure . that's okay I guess. Kind of makes me feel more . I don't know . clinical or something. Guess it's psychological?" Trinity asked.

Dr. Wingate nodded, rising from her seat next to Trinity. "No more talking now subject 342. It is essential that the recorders have a clear background so that we capture all the details of this experiment. We must above all be professional." Dr. Wingate said, assuming a much more clinical posture herself and looking quite formidable suddenly.

Trinity nodded, feeling a rush of excitement at the change in Dr. Wingate and the experiment itself.

"Ah, right on time. Thank you doctors and staff for attending our 8 PM session this evening. I know that you all would probably rather be working on your own projects or home with your respective families." Dr. Wingate smiled, addressing the staff that had trickled into the room as she was speaking with Trinity.

"We've begun this round by recording the subject's brainwave patterns as she described major sexual episodes of her life. As you are aware, we've chosen sexuality as a beginning topic as it generates very clear markers we can follow as we test and calibrate our prototype hardware and software. My colleague, Dr. Jones will point out the changes in brainwave patterns as they occur on your monitors."

"The effects of language on this particular subject will begin now." Dr. Wingate continued, referring to her clipboard now.

On monitor two, you see the brainwaves generated just now. You will note that both the red and yellow lines have dipped significantly when Dr. Wingate began using foul language and it was made clear that the subjects was being embarrassed by sharing something she thought would be confidential. Now recall that this is a most basic finding, just the main markers.
