It was very interesting to watch Renee during our trip to the restaurant. She had walked very elegantly to the car. Before she got in, she asked me the proper way to enter the passengers side when wearing a skirt. I briefly explained how a woman gets in and seats herself. I then watched as Renee entered gracefully. During the drive, Renee kept her hands folded in her lap. When she spoke, I noticed a definite softening of her voice.

My daily routine was quickly established. I would usually take my shower the night before so that I could get a few minutes more sleep in the morning. Once I awoke, I would wash my face, use some scented talc and then get dressed in my lingerie and school uniform. One day I would wear the skirt and blazer, the next I would wear my uniform jumper. After doing my makeup, I would join Mom for breakfast.

The Friday after we had purchased my prom gown was to be my femme prom day. Mom had already planned everything out, including my absence from school that day. Thursday night, Mom had me take my shower after making sure that the depilatory cream and the razor had removed any hair from my body, except around my private areas. She then made sure that I was in a satiny nightgown and in bed between my satin sheets early. "You have a full day ahead of you tomorrow," she said. "I am just trying to make sure that you get your proper beauty sleep.

Mom greeted her two sleepy daughters on Christmas morning with a nice breakfast. By the time we were finished eating, there was a little more life in us. We gathered around the tree and had Mom open her presents first. Sharon gave her a lovely full-skirted, knee length, dress in red satin and a bottle of her favorite perfume. Mom thanked us both for our presents, saying she really liked both gifts.

Mom told me how nice I looked when I got home. She also asked if it would be all right with me if Elaine came over and took some pictures of Bobbi and I before we went to the dance.
